The Sustainability Cooperation Protocol between Marmara University and the Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye, which aims to cooperate in sustainability research issues, was held on Friday, May 17, at the Marmara University Rectorate Building.
Marmara University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt said in his speech: “Universities are opened to developments and implementation thanks to these protocols made with both public and private sectors. It plays a very important role in young people's education and teachers' development. We hope that this protocol on sustainability will be beneficial to both the Development Bank and Marmara University students and academicians.
Türkiye Development and Investment Bank General Manager İbrahim Halil Öztop said, "Since Türkiye Development and Investment Bank is a state bank, we especially wish to cooperate with valuable universities like yours. We hope to deepen and expand these collaborations to be even more beneficial to our country. We are very proud to have made such an agreement again.”
Deputy General Manager Seçil Kızılkaya Yıldız said that she attaches great importance to this cooperation and said, “We are an organization devoted to sustainable development. In this sense, we attach great importance to this cooperation with Marmara University. I hope that this cooperation will be beneficial for institutions and beneficial for our country."
In the protocol, Sustainable University Internal Audit Unit Expert Consultant and Non-Governmental Organizations Application and Research Center (STKAM) Director, Prof.Dr. Esra Yüksel Acı and Head of Internal Audit Dr. Cem Çetin, who will coordinate the cooperation process, were also present.
