* Scientific Research Projects Unit

Scientific Research Projects Unit carries out activities such as continuity, evaluation, encouragement and support of research projects. The vision of this unit is to be a unit that directs social development with research and development methods and produces qualified projects in the field of science and technology on the way to becoming an international university. In addition, its mission is to add scientific and technological value to both our university and our country by using internal and external resources in the most efficient way in line with the determined targets.

In the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit, the necessary procedures are carried out for the evaluation of research projects to be carried out by academicians and researchers who have completed their doctorate, medical specialization or artistic proficiency education, thesis projects prepared for master's, doctorate, medical specialization and other project proposals (such as those of the EU, TUBITAK, MINISTRY OF DEVELOPMENT, SANTEZ, ISTKA) and the execution of services related to these.

BAPSİS System for measures of interdisciplinary research success within applicable disciplines

In the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit, the management processes of each project are carried out via BAPSIS. BAPSIS is used to manage interdisciplinary projects more efficiently and sustainably. It also helps support scientific research activities.

A systematic application is used in the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit for the continuity and evaluation of each project. Each interdisciplinary researcher can easily access and follow the continuity of their projects.

The directive, which was prepared in accordance with the decision taken by the Marmara University Senate in its meeting dated 06 August 2019 and numbered 385-3, in accordance with the 5th article of the regulation on Scientific Research Projects of Higher Education Institutions published in the official gazette dated 10 April 2002 and numbered 24722, was revised and accepted by the Marmara University Senate and includes 11 different project types.

Marmara Innovation Technology and Transfer Office for measures of interdisciplinary research success

The mission of Marmara Innovation Technology and Transfer Office is to contribute to the development of university-industry cooperation, to support the commercialization process of technology, to provide logistical support to academic research by applying knowledge and technology-based approaches and effective methods to create, develop and provide logistical support for R&D projects, to provide effective interface services for the registration and protection, marketing and commercialization of intellectual and industrial property rights. Its vision is defined as being the interface that will integrate the university's existing scientific and technological knowledge with the industry and increase our country's competitive power and development rate.

The purpose of Marmara Innovation Technology and Transfer Office Project Support is to ensure that university academics access National and International R&D and Innovation project funds and to support application processes in order to increase the technological level of R&D activities carried out in our university and region and to improve project capacities.
