Marmara University continues to recognize and support the importance of collaboration with local, national and global health institutions to improve health and well-being outcomes.
Marmara University has its own faculty of medicine. This faculty of medicine carries out joint studies with many health units, especially local hospitals. Most of these studies include national and international projects. Some of the more important activities are focusing on global health problems and offering solutions to these problems by carrying out joint studies. In order to be able to offer solutions, it can organize activities through joint collaborations. Thus, Marmara University is taking great steps in terms of providing a healthier and more sustainable life.
In this context, Marmara University has established the Joint Biotechnology Excellence Joint Application and Research Center (SABIOTEK) with three universities.

Thanks to this collaboration with SABIOTEK, it continues its work within the scope of digital transformation in many health sectors and also carries out important projects in the field of health. Marmara University takes great importance and steps to increase global health services with these activities.
SABIOTEK carries out many activities within the scope of joint studies. One of these is the Project Writing Workshop. This activity aimed to contribute to the development of different projects for the realization of healthy and sustainable improvements. As a result of this activity, it was determined that cooperation between NGOs was also strengthened.

In order to develop international, comprehensive project proposals from thematic areas of health biotechnology, a meeting was held with our researchers in cooperation with SABIOTEK and YTU TTO. The meeting titled “2519-COST WORKING GROUP SUPPORT PROGRAM APPLICATION PROCESSES” was held in the YTU Technology Transfer Office conference hall.
