Medico Social Center
Our Medico Social Centers, which operate under our University's Department of Health, Culture and Sports, provide health services to our students, academic and administrative staff and their dependent family members.
We have medico-social centers in Göztepe and Acıbadem Campuses.
Our family medicine specialists, general practitioners and other healthcare personnel provide services in our centers.
In our Göztepe Medico - Social Center; Services are provided in biochemistry laboratory, x-ray, dental, treatment and dressing, psychological counseling and guidance and diet units.
Complaints of students and staff applying to the health unit are evaluated by polyclinic doctors, diagnosed and treated, and those deemed necessary are referred to hospitals with our patient transfer ambulance.

To provide uninterrupted health services, a prefabricated two-storey Medico Social Center with a light steel system was manufactured. Planned in accordance with the standards and features of the polyclinic, PVC flooring with medical features that does not contain bacteria was used in the floor covering.
In the building that serves students and staff; On the ground floor; information and security, emergency service, emergency physician room, nurse room, dental practice, laboratory, x-ray, kitchen, toilet, disabled toilet, on the first floor; 3 polyclinics, 3 dentists, 2 psychologists, meeting room, archive, storage, cleaning room, toilet areas are located.
In the building where a system suitable for polyclinic use was applied as mechanical and electrical installation, the landscaping suitable for ambulance and disabled entrance was completed.
Disabled Dentistry Application and Research Center
A Disabled Dentistry Application and Research Center is being built in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Social Complex in Istanbul to provide easy and fast access to oral and dental health treatment for disabled patients. The Disabled Dentistry Application and Research Center, which has a total construction area of 6055 m2, consists of a ground floor + 4 floors. There will be 10 patient rooms on the ground floor, 6 polyclinics, laboratories, and offices on the 1st floor. 10 polyclinics, X-ray, and a cafeteria on the 2nd floor, and 4 operating rooms, 2 day operating rooms, and 6 intensive care units on the 3rd floor. A 64-person restaurant, an open terrace, and a prayer room will be located on the 4th floor. The work is expected to be completed by March 2025.

Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application-Research Center
To provide psychological counseling and guidance services to all students, administrative and academic staff who are newly registered to our university and who actively continue their education and training life at the associate, undergraduate and graduate levels in our university, in line with their needs. In addition to this main purpose, other purposes of Marmara University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application-Research Center (MARPAM) are to conduct research, applications, consultancy and provide training in the field of Psychological Counseling and Guidance in Turkey and abroad in cooperation with the relevant academic units of the university, to provide psychological counseling and guidance services in order to help university students get to know themselves, make healthy decisions, gain problem solving and communication skills, increase their academic success, benefit from university opportunities to the maximum extent, adapt to university life, and help with their social, emotional, cognitive and career development. Marmara University Hospital
Marmara University Hospital has been operating under the name of Ministry of Health Marmara University Pendik Research and Application Hospital in Kaynarca, Pendik from November 2010.

The 600-bed University Hospital at the Başıbüyük Health Campus, is located in Istanbul, on the Anatolian side in the region of Maltepe.
Marmara University Hospital, which is targeted to be the most advanced health centre in the Turkish public sector , has been planned to close the significant gap in health services that exists in Istanbul, particularly on the Anatolian side. In addition, the project has been designed in keeping with the latest developments in medicine and medical training, with the latest techniques in research, teaching, diagnostics and treatment being taken into account; the hospital will also be equipped with the most modern equipment.
The total number of beds in the 26 wards is 600, with 26 more beds in the emergency ward, and 32 in the intensive care unit, making a total of 658 beds. There are 2 transplant theatres, 2 thoracic/heart theatres, 2 neurology theatres, 2 pediatric surgery theatres, 2 plastic surgery theatres, 2 ophthalmology theatres, 2 ENT theatres, 2 orthopedic theatres, 2 urology theatres, 2 general surgery theatres; in addition the 2 labor rooms, 2 gynecological operating theaters and 5 operating theatres in the emergency ward all demonstrate that the hospital has been designed in keeping with the modern medical mission. There are 4 x-ray rooms in the emergency ward, with 11 more in the radiology department, making a total of 15 x-ray rooms; there are 3 angio-gram rooms, and 2 computerised tomography rooms, a nuclear magnetic resonance unit and an after-loading cobalt-60 and linear accelerator unit.
All the wards, the operating theaters/labor rooms, emergency ward and other sections have medical gas systems. The structure is completely equipped with fire alarms and fire extinguishing systems.
The structure is also equipped with a computer system that can connect the relevant units to one another and a cctv system is projected in the research and teaching units; all the necessary units will use constant power sources.
