In addition, Marmara University offers fully equipped special physical facilities for interdisciplinary research teams. A new platform has been implemented to meet the laboratory and workshop device, equipment etc. needs of each researcher. Access to the devices and facilities requested for all studies to be conducted has been facilitated. These facilities are met with wide working areas and physical facilities. Nanoteknoloji ve Biyomalzeme Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi (NBUAM): specific physical facilities for interdisciplinary research teams

Nanotechnology and Biomaterials Application and Research Center (NBUAM) is responsible for research, projects, training qualified human resources and producing high value-added products needed by our sector, especially in the field of nanotechnology. A research center has many research equipment, scientific experience and infrastructure to fulfill its duties and ensure efficient management of the center. In addition, the mission of this unit is to ensure coordination between various organizations in communication and research and to inform relevant researchers and institutions about developments in nanotechnology with the help of national and international networks. Marmara University specific physical facilities for interdisciplinary research teams mapping system

A mapping system has been put into operation to show which devices are in which unit to meet the needs of each researcher. Thus, the determination of physical facilities has been facilitated for all researchers to contribute to interdisciplinary studies and carry out sustainable activities.

Marmara University Excellence Joint Research and Application Center

In order to create a cluster environment and establish a Excellence Joint Research and Application Center with the cooperation approach mentioned in the 2023 Industry and Technology Strategy of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey; Yıldız Technical University, Marmara University and Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa; - On 28.04.2021, an Academic Cooperation Protocol was signed in the field of "Biotechnology", one of the focal technologies of our country's industry and technology strategy.
