Tracking Graduation Rates of Female Students

Marmara University regularly tracks the graduation rates of female students to support gender equality in higher education. In this process, the rates of female students in enrollment, continuation of their studies, and graduation are evaluated in detail, and comparative analyses are conducted with male students.

The data obtained contribute to identifying gender-based differences in education and developing strategies to address these disparities. The University evaluates these findings at the level of academic units and uses them to shape policies and practices aimed at increasing the academic success and graduation rates of female students.

This tracking mechanism aligns with Marmara University’s goal of strengthening an educational environment that promotes equal opportunities and contributes to efforts carried out in line with Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality).
